Children’s Services:
Henderson County – CLOSED.
Polk County – Columbus Children’s Center OPEN and operating on a regular schedule.
Transylvania County – Hillview Children’s Center will be CLOSED.
Rutherford County – Forest City Children’s Center will be OPEN but operating on a 2-hour delay.
Community Transportation: OPEN AT 9:30 AM – All transportation services will be running (Road Conditions Permitting).
Apple Country Transit: OPEN AT 9:30 AM – All Transit and Para-Transit routes are open (Road Conditions Permitting).
Older Adult Services: Silvermont LunchPlus meal site CLOSED.
Quebec LunchPlus meal site CLOSED.
Mobile Meals delivery service CLOSED. No deliveries will run in Transylvania County.
Housing Services: OPEN at 10 AM

Children’s Services – WNCSource operates Head Start, Early Head Start and NC Pre-K programs to help hundreds of children prepare for kindergarten in Henderson, Transylvania, Rutherford and Polk counties.
Housing Services – WNCSource administers the HUD Housing Choice Voucher and Family Self-Sufficiency program in Henderson and Transylvania Counties to help families obtain safe, affordable housing and move towards independence.
Transportation Services – We help Henderson County stay connected with friendly, door-to-door rides for seniors, people with disabilities and rural residents. Our comfortable, accessible vans make getting to medical appointments, shopping, and other important trips easier and stress-free.
