You will collaborate closely with center staff and community partners to ensure children and families receive comprehensive support according to Head Start Performance Standards.
š What Youāll Do
- Empower & Support Families: Use a strength-based approach to empower families, helping them locate and connect with local community resources and schedule essential appointments.
- Plan Engaging Events: Plan, schedule, and lead quarterly Family Engagement activities in partnership with teaching staff and families.
- Manage Recruitment & Enrollment: Assist in the ongoing recruitment, enrollment, transfer, and processing of paperwork for Early Head Start, Head Start, and Child Care Partnership children.
- Monitor Attendance & Progress: Track childrenās attendance and provide hands-on support services to teachers and families whenever needed.
- Collaborate & Grow: Actively participate in team collaboration meetings and continuously build your skills through ongoing training and educational opportunities.
š Education & Qualifications
- Language Requirement: Must be bilingual (English/Spanish) with fluent reading, writing, and speaking skills in Spanish.
- Education (Minimum): Associateās degree in a related field (or High School Diploma/GED).
- Education (Preferred): Baccalaureate degree in a related field.
- Experience: Prefer 2 years of experience in case management or an early childhood classroom setting.
