In this full-time role based in Hendersonville, NC, you will work directly with teaching staff to elevate classroom interactions, implement curriculum, and build bright futures for young children.
🌈 What You’ll Do
- Coach & Mentor: Provide hands-on, on-site coaching and mentoring to teaching teams to improve teacher-child interactions and ensure high-quality curriculum implementation.
- Support Dual Language Learners: Screen, plan, and work directly with staff to execute engaging learning experiences that promote English language development for bilingual children.
- Design & Deliver Training: Create and lead dynamic training sessions centered on early childhood development and curriculum fidelity.
- Elevate Classroom Quality: Empower teachers with positive behavior techniques and classroom strategies that help every child succeed.
🎓 Education & Qualifications
- Education: Baccalaureate degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Human Services, or a related field from an accredited college recognized by NC DCDEE.
- Language Skills: Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience working with young children in group settings.
- Bonus Points: Experience with Head Start, NC Pre-K, Developmental Day Program settings, or Practice-Based Coaching is preferred!
