🎓 Education & Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED (required).
- Preferred Credentials: North Carolina Early Childhood Credential and/or previous experience working with young children is a plus!
- Experience: Experience working with children in a classroom, child care, school, volunteer, or family setting is preferred (Head Start or NC Pre-K experience is helpful, but not required).
- Training: Willingness to complete orientation, health and safety training, and other requirements set by WNCSource and NC DCDEE.

🌈 What You’ll Do
- Be the Ultimate Classroom Supporter: Provide dynamic support to the Lead Teacher and Teacher Assistant so the team can focus on individualized instruction and meaningful engagement.
- Guide Daily Routines: Assist with fun daily activities including supervision, classroom setup, cleanup, learning materials, and outdoor play time.
- Keep Operations Smooth: Lend a hand during key moments like meal times, tooth brushing routines, classroom transitions, and active name-to-face headcounts to keep every child safe and happy.
- Build Great Relationships: Bring positive energy and a welcoming attitude to help foster a safe, nurturing environment for young learners.
