🎓 Education & Qualifications
- Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum Credentials/Coursework: NC Early Childhood Credential, or actively working toward an NC Early Childhood Certificate, Infant/Toddler CDA (Child Development Associate), or equivalent coursework (or commitment to work toward an Associate’s/CDA/Certificate).
- Preferred Education: Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Human Services, or a related field.

- Nurture Our Youngest Learners: Assist Lead Teachers in the infant room with ages 6 weeks to 13 months, providing high-quality supplemental support and responsive caregiving.
- Engage & Inspire: Lead and participate in classroom activities consistent with WNCSource Head Start philosophy and goals.
- Build Strong Relationships: Foster positive, trusting, and supportive connections with children, parents, and families.
- Ensure Safety & Well-being: Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment inside the classroom and out on the playground.
