WNCSource serves Henderson, Transylvania, Polk and Rutherford Counties in Western NC through our programs in Early Childhood Education, Transportation, Housing and Older Adults services. We’re always looking for volunteers who can lend a hand with a variety of projects – big and small!

Here’s just a few ways that individuals or groups can make a difference!

Delivering Mobile Meals to homebound seniors in Transylvania County
Volunteering at the Tiger Town Thrift Store in Rosman
Collecting children’s books to donate to our Children’s Services Program
Hosting a Diaper Drive or collecting items for “Make At Home” learning kits for children
Support Teacher Appreciation Campaign by making crafts or collecting items for teacher gift bags
Help set-up playground equipment at one of our childcare centers
