Tiger Town was established in 2001 to provide an economical place for families to shop while providing support funding for WNCSource’s Mobile Meals, Lunch Plus congregate meals, and Liquid Nutrition programs in Transylvania County. For every $6 donation or purchase, shoppers provide a home delivered meal for a home bound senior. Tiger Town is located across from Rosman High School and staffed by volunteers and a part-time manager.

Tiger Town Thrift Store accepts gently used furniture, household goods, children’s toys, books, jewelry, and clothes for resale. Please be sure clothes are clean and free of any stains or tears and household items are in good working order. Our greatest need and most requested item is furniture.
Looking for a fun and interesting volunteer opportunity? Join the Tiger Town Team! We are always looking for friendly volunteers who can help greet customers, accept, sort and price incoming donations, arrange merchandise display tables and shelves, hang clothes, and serve as cashiers.
Location: Tiger Town Thrift Store is located on 1 Chestnut St. in Rosman, NC just outside of Brevard directly across from Rosman High School.
Volunteers are especially needed on Fridays and Saturdays. 2 to 4 hour volunteer shifts available
Getting Started: Volunteers must be age 21 or older and will need to complete an application form, undergo training and submit to a background check. Our need for volunteers is ongoing.
Items to Donate
We appreciate donations of most clothing, shoes, housewares, furniture and antiques that are in clean, usuable condition. Of course, cash donations are also appreciated!
All donations can be made directly at Tiger Town Thrift Store in Rosman. Please do not leave items when we are closed.
