Bargain Hendo Thrift Store to Close

After much deliberation, WNCSource is sad to announce that the Bargain Hendo Thrift Store will be closing its doors on December 13th. Bargain Hendo, located at 201 N. King St. in downtown Hendersonville, first opened in 2020. It quickly gained a following of loyal shoppers and volunteers who enjoyed the wide variety of donated clothing, tools, antiques, housewares, electronics, books and collectibles that came through the doors. Proceeds from store sales were used to support the programs and services WNCSource provides across four western North Carolina counties. Unfortunately, rising operating costs, decreasing sales and competition from other local thrift stores has made the store less than profitable and caused WNCSource to close the store.

But that just means the bargains will be even bigger at Bargain Hendo! Starting Thursday, November 2nd, Bargain Hendo will be open Wednesday to Friday (10AM-4PM) and Saturdays (10AM-2PM). Daily sales and bag specials will be held until everything is gone! WNCSource invites everyone to stop on by and find a bargain while supplies last!
